Kim Schulenburg has extensively worked with survivors of concussions,traumatic brain injury, strokes, and other neurological disorders in every phase of recovery, from Level 1 trauma ICU through the outpatient setting.
Kim is passionate about providing outpatient care with the
interdisciplinary team at NeuroRehab. For over 20 years, she has provided
patient-centered care to help individuals adjust and return to living life
to its fullest. Speech Therapy addresses much more than speech and
communication.
Speech Pathologists also evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and
cognition ( attention, memory, problem-solving, etc ) to increase
functional independence. Kim has a Master of Arts degree and a Certificate
of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
In Kim’s free time, she enjoys volunteering as a Girl Scout Leader,
practicing yoga, and camping with her family.
