Marcella “Marcie” graduated from the University of Delaware in 2011 with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Strength and Conditioning. She earned her Masters in Occupational Therapy from University of the Sciences in 2015 and soon after found a special interest working neurological and concussion populations. She has a clinical background in both adults and pediatrics with previous experience working in the inpatient rehabilitation setting and outpatient pediatrics. Marcella has also served as the clinic director of Ivy Rehab for Kids in Middletown.
Marcella is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist with a special interest in working with concussion populations. As is a former competitive figure skater, she uses her experiences and interactions to foster a strong desire to work with athletes.
Aside from her clinical roles, she is an adjunct faculty member at Delaware State University’s Occupational Therapy Program. Outside work, Marcella is a new mom to her daughter, and lives with her husband and dog in Townsend, DE. You can find her cheering for Philadelphia sports teams and loves anything Disney, enjoys a Starbucks Pink Drink, and will give a good attempt at any Crossfit workout.
