Maureen Kessler, S.L.P.
Bio

Maureen, referred to as "Mo," graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University in Spring of 2021. She obtained her Bachelors in Speech and Hearing Sciences through the online program with a minor in Psychology. As an undergraduate, Maureen managed a coffee chain until the Fall of 2021, when she stepped down to attend the University of Delaware (UD). While there, she helped grow her stores' talent while surpassing her metrics, achieving store manager of the quarter in 2020. In the Spring of 2023, Maureen graduated from UD with her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). During her last semester, Maureen spent 14 weeks as a graduate student clinician at DE NeuroRehab, building relationships with the team and patients. Before graduation, she accepted a position within the practice as a PRN (i.e., as needed) SLP. Maureen works full-time in a local school district, working with the general and special education population. She is a member of the district's autism support services, aiding in the diagnosis and development of goals for children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As someone who received a late diagnosis of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) type inattentive, Maureen is passionate about using a neurodivergent approach to all speech and language interventions. Maureen enjoys reading books, crocheting, crafting, and playing video games in her free time. She is usually a homebody who spends time with her husband and three cats. However, she occasionally ventures into the world for UD Creamery ice cream, a museum, or a fantastic Broadway show.
